What do the stars next the the guns mean? Ex: When you are going through your gear you can hover over to the top right of the rectangle and you'll see a faded star, once you click on it the stars tends to show more detail...any idea what the star means? Am I cool now or what...

That star means you are favoriting that weapon.


EDIT: Now, to the person that downed this, open your inventory and press the left thumbstick to toggle favorite. If you have taken a quest with a key weapon, then it automatically as a star on it as a sign to use the weapon. But in this case, the weapons are not isolated from the others, meaning that the marked weapons were toggled as favorites.
