Every time I try to open Google Chrome it gets to 18,000 in the task manager then just closes / stops. How can I fix this?

Try running it as an administrator?

Just try uninstalling it and then reinstalling.

That did not work, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll try reinstalling it like Kimbrel said.

That did not work, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll try reinstalling it like Kimbrel said.
i thought you might of already reinstalled it that's why i didn't suggest it. But yeah that should defo solve it.

If it continues to happen after re-installing goto your firewall/antivirus settings and make sure it's allowed

uninstall and reinstall. if that dont work make sure you also got the right chrome such as 64bit or 32bit. dont know if that affects it, just throwing out ideas
