Hey!
I am a complete noob on Jtags/RGH but I know the concept, I want to get a jtagged or RGH Xbox.

Okay so if somebody has the patience to explain to me a few things;

What is better JTAG or RGH?
I only want to use this for getting free games and I will never go online with it
How much will it cost?
How hard is it?

I don't know what much else to say, hope you can help me

Thanks

RGH & Jtags are pretty much the same, is just the concept, on how they run is diffrent. but they do the same thing.
The prize depends on the motherboard of the console. the more better Motherboards is, the more expensive it is.

And its not hard, At the beggining, Youtube is your biggest friend then .. you start to do staff by yourself.

Both achieve the same end goal (i.e running homebrew), boot times can vary - JTAG is instaboot, RGH1 is typically 0-10 seconds, RGH2 can be up to a minute with phat consoles, I think slims have reasonable boot times.

How much will it cost?

Depends on what motherboard you opt for. I'd suggest a falcon/jasper RGH1 for good boot times at a decent price - you'd be looking at around $90-100+ for the console alone.

How hard is it?

Easy if you research beforehand and know what you're doing when you get it.

JTAG, the only difference between them both is boot times.

I only want to use this for getting free games and I will never go online with it.
That's perfecttly fine, that's what I mostly use mine for, I have Forza Horizon 2, Destiny and a load more games on mine at the moment.

How much will it cost?
Cheapest you'll get for a JTAG is around 130GBP or so.

How hard is it?
Not hard to use at all, if you ever run into trouble, there's hundreds of answers on google.

The Difference from a JTAG and RGh are that a JTAG insta boots and is not done via a chip on the motherboard, RGH takes time to boot so it wont always be instant, it is done via a chip soldered to your motherboard causing it to loop and "glitch" letting it run unsinged code

prices range from about $70 to about $400(Jasper JTAG BB) word of advice DON'T BUY A XENON MOTHERBOARD.

it is not that hard if you get some help from the right places people can troll you though
and you Cannot update a dashboard on the console normally has to be done in a specific way or youll brick the console rendering it useless

my advice is buy a Jasper RGH and the Biggest Hard Drive you can find for it

(if im wrong about anything guys inform me)

What's the difference between a $70 and a $400 one? Just memory or? And what's with the whole motherboard thing?
