Here's my situation:
I started playing Xbox Live last year, and as many others- I CONSTANTLY complain, and b!tch about how bad Xbox is, how terrible people are, and how there seems to be always a modded against me. I have been leaning towards a PS3 for about a month now, and I don't know what to choose- the Sexy PS3, or the Original Xbox... Last week I got PERMANENTLY banned from Black Ops, yes I LOVE to mod! Ever since I heard about modding of any sort (Jtag, Hard-Drive tampering, etc.) I have heard non-stop (literally) about how it is to mod the PS3, with a USB flash drive. I'm also confused on if you can get banned for modding (I'm guessing yes.) And what would that consequence be? Also, I know this is THE WORST question ever, but can you invite people to a party/ private chat- or do have to be in game chat?
As all you know, Christmas is in a week- as long as my Birthday is Jan. 21st.

If I were to buy a PS3, I would have to sell my Xbox and Accessories + some Ca$h.
If I weren't to buy a PS3, I would be miserable on Xbox.


Main Question/ Poll- Is a PS3 worth it over a Xbox, if you are sick of Xbox, and definitely want to try the PS3?

If you're into modding, PS3 is a better buy because you can jailbreak it like a Jtag for the Xbox. And they can be WAY hard to detect. Plus, they rarely ban! And you can jailbreak with a 99 dollar flashdrive from PSjailbreak.com!

Had one, literally through it out of the door. Bought 2 xboxs, now I have 6 and they've all treated me fine.

they are easy to mod and u never realy get banned and if u do its only a couple days

are ps3 Good any way

NO. Unless you have GREAT Internet, Ps3 cuts off most of it.

Its worth it if you just like playing. But if you. More towards playing with parties its not the graatest. The only thing i miss after switching was not being able to play with my friends from live but I have no cimplaints oh and I miss gears of war. That's it lol but ps3 is totally worth it. Plus blu ray and free online 8) can't beat that
