Recently I built a PC, everything went fine, powered up first time, about 30 minutes later, I had to reset the PC, so all the Drivers could finish installation & updates could be installed, but once I turned it off, it wouldn't power back up & I have no idea what I've done.

I have tried rebuilding the PC from scratch, still nothing, I've tried the PSU in another PC, it works fine.

Any help would be great

Thanks.

Any beep or status codes from the mobo?
Does the machine power on at all, fail on POST or crash booting the OS?

Nothing happens at all, no beeps, no lights, nothing.

No power going to the system at all? or does it turn on and do nothing?

Actually ignore that, the light on the mobo comes on, but nothing else happens.

Could be a failure in a update and damaged something??

Take all the wires out and put them all back in.

Seems like a dodgy motherboard if the PSU is fine.

No lights on the motherboard at all?

If not then the motherboard has more then likely died.

If i was you I'd test your other hardware on a different build in case its affected other parts.

I've had a similar problem to this before.
I had no sign of power, and only a green light would come onto the mobo.
I was ready to purchase another, when I decided to try and boot my computer with my crappy PSU, which worked. Then got a new PSU, and it has been fine since. Sounds like in this case though it could be the motherboard.
