Annabelle, a prequel toThe, opened in theaters on Oct. 3. In the film, John (Ward HortonAnnabelle Wallis), and their baby are terrorized by the doll seen in the first movie. The super creepy toy is possessed and causes some pretty terrifying, supernatural events. So is it the scariest and best Halloween movie ever?

From a lot of the reviews I've seen, it's pretty terrible.
The Conjuring earned the jump scares, apparently this doesn't, it just throws them in for effect.

I also don't really find dolls scary, or clowns, etc.
For something to scare me there has to be an element of realism to it.
Like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, or Jason films.

While we're on the topic of horror movies, I'd take a creepy film over a jump scarey one any day of the week.
Creepy films stay with you and play on your mind for days after the credits stop rolling.
Jump scares are there and gone before you have time to process what happened.

Films like The Shining, Nosferatu, and even House on a Haunted Hill would rank higher as horror movies than films like Insidious, Sinister and The Conjuring for me.

I didn't see it, but some of my friends did and they said it was a waste of their money. Then i saw some reviews on YouTube and they said it was all trailer hype. Im kind of disappointed because i thought it was gonna be good.

Saw it last night.
7/10.

Wasn't scary nor creepy, it was boring and I was waiting for it to end.
It was really predictable too.

Well.....

I'm not in all that horror movie stuff since I just dont like them, you can say anything you want about me I just dont like them.

But the movie looks pretty good for a horror movie. The doll looks pretty scary though.

Watched it earlier and can honestly say was a waste off my time,

Not one scene was scary or creepy and it became funny to me at some points (But my sense of humor is messed up)
Wouldn't recommend it

I'm still yet awaiting to see it! I hope to see it soon, for some reason all my friends thought it would be a funny joke not to invite me but they will get what is coming to them!
