Ok so I have a phat white xbox that is missing the dvd drive. I've had the xbox forever and would like to put a new drive in it. I've been told from a few shops that there's no way to find out the dvd key with out the old drive. So i was wondering if there was a way to find the dvd key by other means?

And if there isnt is it possible to jtag or rgh it so i can play games offline without the drive?
Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me out.

You'll need a NAND reader and a glitch chip to get the console to boot in to xell to grab the CPU key to decrypt the NAND.

OK so i would say it can be RGHed but it will be RGH 2.0 and would have a slow boot time possiablity but you can get try and get your dvd key by dumping the nand. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] see if that helps you out.
