I recently downloaded the Windows 10 Technical Preview (You can do this directly off the Microsoft Site). I wondered if anyone else had yet downloaded the OS and what they think of it, and I have already found I couple of bug fixes so I can help with those issues.

Want Windows 10?

Go to:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

You Simply register your Microsoft account and then download a small file which will initiate the Windows 10 Technical Preview through Windows Update.

It is a 2GB file, so for people with slow internet I recommend downloading through the night.

If you have Windows 7, Vista or 8/8.1 then you will not lose any files and your system will keep them in their respective folders.

I think the Windows 10 preview is great already, what ever features they have to add bring it on! I've got this running in a virtual machine and I think it's amazing so far.

I aren't too sure, it seems to be very unstable at time. My system is not a slow system, 4 Core Processor and 16GB Memory in this system and I still see the slows and the occasional operational lag or peak, I do however understand it is in very early stages.

I'm runnning it in a virtual machine with 4GB RAM and 2 cores, on a Quad Core and 16GB RAM system, and I see no lag in the virtual machine what so ever. I love the features they've added, however the search icon seemed a bit unneeded and the multiple desktop button could be moved xD

I see the lag not in how smoothly it runs but operational response times. However, apart from that, the system seems to run smoothly.

I never bought Windows 8 because of how crappy it is however 10 does take my liking.

Also, I altered my task bar so the search and task view have been removed. It is quite a simple task just some restrictions need to be lifted;)
