So as the title says it's my birthday, and I really want help with something..
So, so far I've managed to rack up $1,350 so far. Which is alot I guess?
I'm looking for some competitive gaming merchandise I can buy..
So far I'm looking at
But you see, that's all I really know on what to get. I wanna become a competitive gamer, but I don't know where to start and what to start with.. Well I'm already a competitive player on Destiny, and Black ops 2 but I feel as if I'm being let down with the lack of being able to sound hor, disadvantages in gun fights.. I wanna know, What else can I get to give me that push?? If you have any thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate your response

Scuf Controller (PS4, Maybe 360 aswell)
Added sugestions
Elgato (Or another device to record Gameplay)

Ok, so far thats good you should start your own streaming, so get a elgato or something better than a elgato it would be nice to see you stream your gaming, share with us maybe we like to see. Also happy b day man hope you have a good one.

If you really want to start competitive gaming then use that money to get a gaming PC.
PCs are a lot more competitive than consoles and mouse and keyboard can lead you to being a great gamer with practice.
No one really takes console competitive gamers seriously any more, controllers are hard to aim with and clunky.

Well that really wasn't what I was after, because I already own a gaming pc.. I just don't really find amusement out of it, my left hand gets sore to fast from always having to stretch to the Shift/Control keys.. I've tried different keyboards nothing works for me, so I really only use my PC for Day Z, Teamfortress, garrys mod.. And all of those other laid back kind of games..
That's why I'm now leaning towards trying my chances with a console.

I currently have the Astro A40s and even though the price of the headset is a little steep (for a headset), I must say they're worth it. I've had them for 3 years without a problem.
As far as the scuf controller goes, I have one and it worked well until one of the paddles became jammed so take care of it if you do get one. Not a bad investment either as far as competitive gaming goes, it's pretty standard now to have a scuf.
