The Queen's Wrath
"The Queen desires the elimination of specific targets across the solar system, and you'll be rewarded for doing so."
Bounties For The Event
These bounties will be used to unlock access to her mission in order to obtain the "Queens Gear". You can do the mission 5 times per day until the event is over. Each time you turn in one of her bounties the mission will be available.
Crucible Bounties
By Thy Hand
Defeat 20 Guardians with Hand Cannon headshots.
Her Willful Gaze
Defeat 20 Guardians with Scout Rifle headshots.
Off With Their Heads
Defeat 15 Guardians with Sniper Rifle headshots.
For Her Honor
Win 3 Crucible Matches with the Queens Class, Emblem and Shader items equipped.
Warrior Of The Reef
Defeat 50 Guardians with the Queens Class, Emblem and Shader items equipped.
Patrol Bounties
Extermination Protocol
Defeat 200 Fallen with headshots.
Face Your Fears
Defeat 3 Fallen Walkers
No Parley
Defeat 10 Fallen Majors.
Relic Harvest Fallen
Collect 200 Ether Drops from Fallen Enemies on any planet.
Strike Bounties
Prime Target [The Devils Lair]
Defeat Sepiks Prime, deep within the Cosmodrome on Earth.
A Perfect Strike
Complete a Level 26 Vanguard Strike without dying.
A Perfect Strike
Complete a level 28 playlist Strike without dying.
Story Bounties
Archon Slayer [Restoration]
Defeat Riksis, the Devil Archon, in the Cosmodrome on Earth.
Last Day of Winter [Scourge of Winter]
Defeat Draksis, Winter Kell, in the Scourge of Winter on Venus.

Why are some of them ridiculously hard (Level 28 Strike w/o dying) and others extremely easy (kill Fallen majors)? Do the more difficult bounties give you different rewards or something?

No all the bounties do is unlock the target mission. I agree with you on the bounty difficulty but it is really worth doing. You get legendary gear that is useless for most of us but we can break it down for shards to upgrade our current gear.

I haven't ive unlocked the same thing twice 'the queens mask'

Level 28 Strikes are not hard to complete flawlessly if you are lvl 28+. It's just the damage debuff you get when you are lower level that makes them difficult.

Well I'm not level 28, nor do I have a coordinated fireteam to be able to do that.
The best way to do higher level content is to take it slow. I completed the nightfall solo. It just requires some patience
