I already know people are gonna say just build your own but no, i'm not doing that so please don't comment telling me to do so. This is a pretty good looking pc in my eyes and it's in the budget plus i get a discount because my mother works in the walmart pharmacy. So it'll be around $450. Not including the monitor i am going to buy. I know the graphics card isn't the best but how is this for a decent computer going into college and also looking to play games at the same time? I want others opinions.

Thank you!

I don't have the time to build one right now as i am working and need it ready to go as soon as it gets here for college in a week. No time to waste on building it, and i'm not draining my wallet i have 3 grand but i'm on a limit for my computer because the rest is going towards my college payments. This is actually a very cheap computer considering the specs i'm getting. Yeah i could upgrade the gpu and cpu but it's not necessary I have no need to play games on higher quality. This is better than my friends pc and he runs every game medium settings no lag just fine. Just wondering what everyone thought about it.

You don't have time to build it, but you're looking to play games on it? Something doesn't seem right here.
If your monitor/TV is 1080P, you will be running games on low at unplayable framerates. If it is 720P then it will be barely playable.

720p @ 25FPS. Keep in mind that the CPU is a lot better than yours.

This a lot better for your money. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I would seriously consider it. If you still want to go with the pre-built, I really doubt you can get a better one for the price.

Look here, you will never get the best bang for your buck getting something via a middleman (i.e: Retail shit like you referenced to).

I don't have the time at this exact moment and i start in a week and need it ready to go by then. Once i get there i'll have the time but i can't wait to buy and build one when i'm going to need it for my work that i'll have.

Yeah i prefer intel as well but with the AMD being quad-core with 3.8ghz and 4.0 with turbo it's a great price granted it only has 4mb L2 Cache. The NVidia GeForce GT730 isn't the best but it'll do for now. But for only $450 and upgrades whenever i feel i need them it's a steal in my opinion.

I would advise you build it yourself, you may not have the time but you have two options, get a PC pre built that WILL STRUGGLE WITH ANY GAME, or build a PC that will wipe the floor with that PoS you linked for around the same price.

I understand what you are saying but that is not exactly true. I know plenty of people who have pre-builts and have no issues at all playing games. I would love to build my own but right now is not the time for me. But i completely get what you're saying. It's not hard to build it yourself but i've never done it and i know there's tons of videos on it especially on newegg and i could get better parts for the same price. But it's not that big of a deal.
