I really don't know much about computers, I've been an xbox gamer for years, but I've decided to move to pc.

I don't think I can build my own pc so i found a site called DinoPC and created this:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690

CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS5X Performa

Operating System: Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Motherboard: Gigabyte H97M-HD3

RAM: 8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (2x4GB)

Hard Drive: 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s

Optical Drive: 22x DVDRW DL S-ATA

Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB

Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio

Internet: Wireless 802.11N 300Mbps MIMO PCI card

Case: Corsair Graphite 230T

PSU: 600W Corsair CX

Total : 835.37GBP

Any feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You should definitely not buy a prebuilt. Just wait for one of the good guys on this website to propose a build, you've got 1000GBP to play with... so you're lucky .

It's not bad, but a pre-built is a waste of money. If you're willing to build yourself, give us your maximum budget and we can give you a list of the best components to use within your budget.

I wouldn't buy a pre-built, personally.

What's your budget? I guess we can pick out the best parts for your PC, depending on your budget.

Maximum budget is 1000 GBP, would be great if you could give me a list of everything and I will give it a go.

Thanks

Alright, I have no knowledge of PC's but I've still been looking and I found this Alienware [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Is this not better than the build you suggested to me?

Thanks,
Igneous

You're better off buying parts and building your own, rather than buying a dumpster.

*sigh* no. It's not. £1000 and it comes with an R9 270.. lelelel. If you buy that PoS, you may as well give up on life. Plus, Alienware use crappy PSU's. Don't watse your money on that crap.
