I know this is a long shot but ive recently brought this case from someone with all its contents and he said the front usb 3.0 have been disconnected i cant seem to find any wires coming from there that have been unpluggged they all seem to be in to me :S


Is it possible he disconnected the whole wire?

Well, when you plug something into the front panel USB3 ports, does your system recognize it? If not, then they're not plugged in. It's possible he removed the wire that you would plug into your motherboard. Not sure what the purpose in that is, but it is possible.

The USB3 header is the thick one in the middle. It's hard to miss.

That's the one. It can usually be removed pretty easily with two screws. It may also disconnect at the jack.

Fount it just unsure were to put it and cant seem to see anywhere (asus sabertooth 9900 fx r2) thanks for the help +rep
