The prices may be a little much but have you actually taken the time to see the kind of technology that Apple puts into their products?

Only complaint I have against Apple is that most if not all of their products are overpriced.

I am currently on a 2009 iMac, and the thing still runs like a champ, unlike my brothers 2012 Toshiba laptop which crapped out about a month ago. So if you want to spend more, and save more, buy a mac. Also, I hate the iPhone hype as well, when I drove by the Apple Store about 3 hours ago coming back from Moes, there is about 200 people camped out. Thats ridicules and I agree. But the compactness of the old iPhones is awesome and that is why I still have a 4s. Also, apple products look fantastic and have that very even feel to it. I personally love samsung, but there is a reason I'm still with apple.

Your credibility goes right out the window when it's clear you can't tell the difference between "there" and "their". No offense but it's obvious that you're either too illiterate or your means don't meet well enough for you to afford an Iphone.
Sure you could just be hating on the company/ products but in reality, you're more likely jealous of your friends who have Iphones or Macs or and Apple product. Sure you could be a serious person who just doesn't get grammatical simplicities like there and their but truly, I can't believe a single word coming from you when you're that uneducated.

I don't agree. I think Apple makes quality products that I enjoy using.
Am I going to line up and mindlessly buy an iPhone? No.
Am I Going to trash them for no reason other than they price their iPhones highly? Definitely not.

I'd say leave it to the person who is spending their own money to purchase what they want.

Apple produce products of superior quality to the majority of competitors, that (and a preference towards iOS and Mac OS) is my reasoning for being Apple

I'm actually a little confused at what you're annoyed it. Apple products are expensive, considerably more expensive than the build price - but that's a pricing strategy (price skimming/creaming). Apple are a company with the intention of generating profits. If this pricing strategy is the strategy they want to implement, that is both logical and fair.

From a consumer point of view, there are a large variety of reasons people buy Apple products. Let's take the view of an arrogant person here and eliminate people who buy because they know they'll have a smooth experience and little risk of having to buy replacements. If in this hypothetical situation people are buying because of the brand image, so be it. If they're buying to convey the image of wealth, so be it. Consumers are entitled to buy products for essentially any reason.

Brand-image/expensive price influenced purchases are a huge part of business. The clothing company Hollister, for example mark up their clothes by 500/600% and many still purchase. It happens, accept it. It's not something that should bother you. It doesn't affect your personal interests, relax

Just to argue with your generalizations.

Your credibility goes right out the window when it's clear you can't tell the difference between "there" and "their".

Yes, because understanding grammar, obviously means you can't research, or understand basic concepts about this topic. Credibility has NOTHING to do with this, he is not an information source. He is stating his opinion, which DOES NOT have to be credible.

No offense but it's obvious that you're either too illiterate or your means don't meet well enough for you to afford an Iphone.

Quite honestly, you keep pointing out idiotic points, such as literacy. If anything, I can say you are illiterate, since you fail to notice the actual capitalization of the term "iPhone". Anyway, you are assuming there is a relation between literacy rates and how much people make, and who buys actually purchases an iPhone.

I lived in a Ghetto for a few years. It was an upwards of 70% minorities, who all were REALLY poor. They had iPhones. They also weren't very literate.

Now, I make enough to buy two iPhones in a week.

I own an Android.

Sure you could just be hating on the company/ products but in reality, you're more likely jealous of your friends who have Iphones or Macs or and Apple product.

Or... maybe he simply doesn't like apple products?
iOS 8 has nothing Android doesn't already have.
Continuity - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Interactive Notifications (Quick Reply) - I had this with one of the free texting apps, and it comes by default with my ROM.

Sharing Location - Can do that (not really useful for me)

Multiple picture sending - Can do it

Auto-Destruct & Auto-Clear Messages - Can be done with third party app | Can be done by default

Looking at only attachments - Can be done

Group Messaging - Stock & 3rd party

Predictive Typing - Default feature

Third Party Keyboards - Tons

Recent Menu For Contacts - Can do this, see who I talk to the most, etc.

Gestures - Some small third party apps can set up custom gestures

Spotlight Search - I can do this with my phone, and I could for a long time now.

Widgets in Notifcations- Rom has it

Etc.

Sure you could be a serious person who just doesn't get grammatical simplicities like there and their but truly, I can't believe a single word coming from you when you're that uneducated.

Here's your arguement.
Blah, blah, grammar, blah, not credible, blah, jealous, blah grammar.

So, here is a logical argument.

Android and iOS are fairly similar in features. Android tends to have a multitude of newer features and more advanced features, for two very simple reasons:
1) More companies make Android phones
2) Larger Developer community (Open-Source OS)

Therefore, you have more people contributing to the progression.

It's a fact. Apple may have a feature first as well, but other then that they are relatively similar.

This is just a comparison on one Android phone, which I could purchase for less in phone carrier stores, now.

iPhone is typically for less advanced users, Android can do anything you want it to with a few simple tweaks.

I can press two buttons to,
-Over/Under clock my CPU
-Remove OS Animations
-Install a new OS
-Install Themes
-Use multiple "markets/appstores"
-Change boot animations
-Etc.

Craigyy wrote Now yes, Apple's prices are a bit mental for younger people, but let me put it to you this way.

If you want something that will last for years and stay in the same condition, a Mac is the right way to go. With Apple you pay for build quality and epic support. Apple Pay looks pretty good to me and I'm considering an iPhone just for that feature.... But you have to admit, all of their products are built like tanks and look stunning.

"will last for years"
AHAHAHAHA.
You're crazy.
Apple products? You mean that phone that has the annoying cracked screen?

Sorry Macs have virus issues too you know.
