I found a stereo graphic equalizer in my garage and decided to hook it up to my speaker system. It shows the music levels and all the stuff on the display, but no music comes out. The layout goes: sound ---> EQ ---> Speakers. Does this need an amp? (sound ---> EQ ---> amp ---> Speakers?) Or could the output plugs be broken?
