So years ago back in 2008/2009 i got my first Xbox and it was chipped (that's what i used to think it was called) so it can play games on DVD+R DL Disks, This console got banned on the release of MW2 which is when they done a mass ban of all flashed Xbox's me and a couple mates got console banned. i recently got it from downstairs as it works perfectly fine its never been updated since because its console banned so i tried to play some games like forza 4 and titanfall on it but they dont work, is it because the console hasn't been updated since because i can still play my old games on the DVD+R DL Disks?
and if i buy another phat Xbox for cheap but its not yet been banned would i be able to swap the disk drives over and play the flashed games etc on the unbanned Xbox? Because i was going to buy Flashed Xbox brand new off a website or something but if i can do it just by swapping disk drives then ill happily do that?
or could i put an old disk drive in the Xbox slim and it work or are they 2 different sizes ?
but i know nothing about flashed Xbox etc so alot of the questions may seem nooby but we all start somewhere lol
