Hello,
So I haven't posted in here for a while (been fairly busy with coursework). I'm creating a gaming magazine for my Art Graphics course (will post some images of it when i'm finished!).
I am trying to create an 'exploded view' of an Xbox One, in the art style below. It's a piece by Jing Zhang:
I've thought about using the 3D tools in Illustrator, but in my past experiences with Illustrator it looks a bit shoddy (I'm probably doing something wrong). I have to make it in Illustrator as I want it to be a completely vector piece, so it's suitable for print. Would this have been done using 3D tools in Illustrator, or just using the pen tool and gradients?
If anyone could post a link to a tutorial that would help with something like this, or just give me some general tips, i'd appreciate it!
