I'm sure somebody will say any modification is always risky and never 100% safe but has anyone been banned because of an xK3Y and what is the chance of getting caught and if so how do you kinda stop getting caught I guess one is playing games early.

Playing games early will give you a huge risk of getting banned that would be stupid but other than that i'm pretty sure the risk isn't too high really.

It's as safe as you think it is. There was a rumor that Microsoft hashes all DVD content and whenever it goes over the

XK3Y is as safe as a flashed drive, I have used one for almost 2 years now and have not been banned. I never played games early or unverified images and always loaded games using the remote and not the DVD menu thing.

1. If you play a game before release date then you will get banned... doesnt matter if you use xk3y or lt+ you are still going to get banned... So its not due your xk3y its because you play games early!
2. If you dont run your games through abgx360 you will most propably also get banned... this is xk3y and lt+ also...
3. If you mod games... well then blame yourself cuz we know what game devs thinks about mods...
4. If you mod your Gamertag or achivments or something like that you can also get banned so dont blame on the xk3y!
5. If you are a d***k h**d while chatting you can get banned so dont blame the xk3y!
6. And also... never talk in public (while playing online) that you have an xk3y... this can actually get you banned... once again dont blame the xk3y but blame yourself...
This is from the original xK3y website follow these guidelines and you should be fine if you want to use mods i recommend doing it alone as boring as it is its worth keeping your console on Xbox Live i would say xK3y is a bit safer than flashed drives as it emulates the dvd drive to make it seem like its playing the original disk as with flashed its running a custom firmware also best to get the remote rumors saying DVD menu is detected by MS but better to be on the safe side
