I recently ordered an ssd so that i can put windows on it. I have burned the windows iso to a disk because i lost the original. However before I go through with the installation, do i need to uninstall windows from my harddrive or will it replace it automatically?

You need to format the HDD you want to install it to. Once you've formatted it, all the data will be deleted from it and you can proceed with your Windows installation.

^What Gigahertz said.

I just want to mention, you should use a USB stick if you have one. It installs faster and discs are just a pain IMHO.
