Concerns that the deadly Ebola virus, which has claimed nearly a 1,000 lives in West Africa in recent months, can be used by as biological weapon are far from being groundless, Russias Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) said.

Biological weapons are nothing like a nuclear bomb In order to make a nuclear bomb, one would require a uranium mine, a nuclear power plant and so on, but biological weapons are made in a small laboratory, which can be easily camouflaged

There has been speculation that Israel have been trying to acquire Ebola on the black Market to attack Gaza.

Would a country really risk exposing the country that they want to invade with a deadly virus? This would mean that they would have to wait until the virus goes away or until they find a cure.

But in the hands of terrorists, this could be extremely dangerous.

Using Ebola in this way is extremely clever as it is unexpected due to no force being used.
I am not saying that this is a good thing by all means necessary but it is certainly clever.

Here are my thoughts:

Countries that are trying to invade other countries, this wouldn't make sense whatsoever. Why infect the land you want? (Like Ethics said).

Terrorists wouldn't use this unless they somehow contain the virus and infect others from a distance. This can be done through mail, plane, etc but I mean, where would they find the source?

Well the CDC do own the patent and have owned It for a while to the ebola virus so I wouldn't be surprised If this whole outbreak was their fault
