I would grab either Intel i7 3770k or the Intel i7 4770k either one is a great cpu

Shame the i7 is a totaly different brand of CPU to what that motherboard supports.
And you don't even know what he'd be using the PC for, he may not need anywhere near the power that an i7 has.
