When people use Then or Than incorrectly it makes me angry. It is pretty simple to learn.
Correct: I am better than you at Football
Incorrect: I am better then you at Football
Correct: I went to the store then I went home
Incorrect: I went to the store than I went home
Than is used when comparing one thing to another.
Then is used for time.
Just had to rant about this.
Correct: I am better than you at Football

It's kinda like the "your" and "you're" thing.
It annoys the hell out of me when people don't use them correctly.

Jesus Christ another pointless rant about grammar.
This one in particular is ridiculous, I don't think I've ever used then instead of than or vice-versa; even when I was a young child.
If English is someones primary language and they don't know the difference between then and than then they must have some sort of disability, which of course is totally fine and understandable; Otherwise they are thicker than thick.

before you question one's intelligence remember it could be an involuntary action that they do not catch before they post or speak.
