Should you host a server from your home PC:Depends on whether or not if it's gonna be public. If it's gonna be public, you are going to want to find a hosting company to host your server. People that know how to DDoS will attack your home internet if you were hosting a public server from your home PC. The reason behind this is that your IP address will be the server IP. So then people that DDoS would put that IP as it's target. If it was a private server between you and some friends, then yes, make a server from your home PC!
