i think it was because most of them was fake, or i heard a lot of people who claimed to host them were not legit, i could be wrong though.

They removed it because %99 of the "Lobby Hosters" Were Fake. Alot of scams were taking place which obviously is not what TTG want to be known for. They have recently created a Sticky Topic in this Section https://www.thetechgame.com/Forums/t=6574567/rapcat-grand-theft-auto-v-official-modded-services-open.html In Here you will find A %100 Legitimate GTA V Modding Service! Better having 1 Legit Topic And No Fake lobby's Than 1 Legit Topic and 40 Fake Lobbys That's why they removed the GTA V Modding Section
