I believe that this year will go to Destiny it's such a vast game, I was one of the people to get to enjoy the beta and I spent countless hours playing it. I haven't seen a lot on Advanced Warfare, there was a trailer recently released showing multiplayer gameplay at the end but when I think of Call of Duty I feel disappointed and not entertained like I was back when MW2 was around. Bungie is such a great developer and Destiny has been so long in the making, there is so much going on for Destiny compared to Call of Duty. Call of Duty has been closely similar the past couple of years and that is something that has to change if they want to be great. I feel or rather I know that Destiny will out sell more than likely most of the games this year including Call of Duty.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

I personally feel that you are right in saying that this could be the year that Call of Duty gets put in their outdated, remastered, place. Call of Duty used to be the greatest game in my life, not any longer. It is now the same garbage every year and I think that Destiny, is going to prevail!

I also agree that Destiny is going to be the better game, however.
Do not forget that Sledgehammer is making Advanced Warfare this year, this is something that we only got a little taste of before with Modern Warfare 3. Sledgehammer was brought into the Modern Warfare 3 project as a "life line" for Infinity Ward. Modern Warfare 3 was a game that was not going to be finished on time, which would have been the first game to have this happen to in the entire Call of Duty series. Sledgehammer is the reason Modern Warfare 3 was finished on time and was able to be put on the shelves on hundreds of thousands of stores.
I think that this is going to be the new era of Call of Duty gaming, this is the first time we will get to see the true ability of Sledgehammer as a company.

Ghosts put me in disappointment mostly so Sledgehammer better make it fun. I better see faceoff playlist. If not then I will have Destiny to look forward to which will be fun. Probably Destiny has it

I think it's still hard to determine what game will be better because there hasn't been much information released regarding Advanced Warfare's multiplayer.
After playing the beta for Destiny I would say that it is going to be a really good game but I wouldn't consider it a game changer. Time will tell.

Okay so you said that Bungie is a great developer because of Halo. (Yes this is true. I love Bungie)
Then you go and say that Call of Duty is the same game over the last few years. How do you know that this year CoD is going to be the same? This is a new Developer, new Engine( its not running the Quake engine that has been recycled since CoD4), and a new console to build that engine on. I think that this year people will be surprised.
And if the game disappoints, I already have Destiny and the Halo: MCE paid for so I will have other games to play.

I have a feeling it'll be close, but I suspect more people will continue to support COD. Though I wish more would jump to Destiny once it comes out.

Everyone is getting tired of CoD. Although most people won't admit to it, CoD has outlived it's name. The past 2 years for CoD have been the same. And for Advanced Warfare I feel it will be exactly the same. They claim that this one is different, and that's the same crap they have been feeding us for the past few years. Destiny on the other hand... Now this is a game that is different. An MMO that has a PVE & PVP. Not only does it give you a new multiplayer experience, but it also allows you to play multiplayer like we are used to. As the Community Manager at Bungie said "This is truly a game for ALL types of players". I can honestly say that the Destiny Beta had be addicted. The level 8 cap didn't even phase me. - Menorah

The call of duty franchise is going to be huge, it gets hyped, people buy it and then realise "oh look, this is the same as the last 10 cods, o well. bought it anyway".

Destiny. I'd choose Destiny over any game and the beta just ended.
