I think it'll continue to be "next gen" until they outsell the previous consoles which I can't see happening for a long while.

I don't see the name "falling off" any time soon. The current gens have sold so much more that it will be a while.

When the PS4 and Xbox One get an established library of games worth playing.

I think once the PS4 and Xbox One get more games, and when they stop making a lot of the games for PS3 and Xbox 360 still.

Probably when PS5 / Next Xbox is revealed.

It's not that old so people still refer to it as Next Gen, rather than Current Gen.

Speaking on this. Sledgehammer is developing Advanced Warfare for the XB1 instead of for the xb360. Most people will eventually go to the 1 because all the work will be going into the x1 version and will most likely be better ;)

I mean...does it matter? Lol. They are the newest consoles, they are part of the "Next Generation." So technically, it isn't wrong.
