I'm studying game design in my college course at the moment. I decided to make a Banner or something for the computer game I designed.

Its called 'Maniac'

This design is above most of the designs that I see on here lol. Including mine xD

The gradient text looks okay, could be better. But, that line that runs through the text kills it for me. I just don't like it.

Well first of all, the size doesn't look right for a game cover.

And did you even illustrate the skull yourself? Or just paste it in?
Because looking carefully at the edges makes me think you didn't create it yourself.

In which case, you most likely wouldn't be able to use it for your game.

Pretty simple though.
Some stock photos pasted in, and some preset styles on the text.

I would work more on making it more custom and unique.

Everything looks good, but then that text man! The gradiant looks sloppy and the line throws it off ! Great job, just the text isn't me
