I'm glad this has gotten the attention many great people on this site! Now this is just my idea and I'm tossing it out there for someone who can take this idea & making it something big with the help of a few judges & the community.
Hello there my fellow TTG community members, I'm here to pitch an idea that will help all of us graphic designers, "gfx" artist, ect.
The idea: A Weekly Graphics Contest
How it can work:
Every week there would be a set topic/theme with any requirements if necessary. Then the community can have 5 days to work on their entry & the final 2 days can be used to choose a winner. We should also have like some sort of leaderboard showing the weekly champions, so the community can see & contestants have something to strive for.
The Goal:
To help are fellow community members by competing against one another to try & be better & become better. The other goal is to help them improve weekly & they can see how to improve in the areas they are weak in.
Now I can't be the host or judge in this contest because I don't consider myself good enough to judge others work when I'm not at high level myself yet, and I won't be able to participate & get better myself. Now if you like this idea and would like to host, judge, or compete, post below & hopefully we can get this started asap. I'd also love help anyway I can if it happens.

I am completely down for this.
Just I suggest you give everyone 4 days instead of five
that way on the last day you can announce the winners and the
topic for the next contest.

Now that i think bout it that is a better idea! All we need is a host/judges.. I'd host, but I wanna be part of the contest & compete. I can make the the thread for it & I can take care of it. I just need for someone to give me the "Theme" & I can compete as well, & we have the judges judge.
