Any way, first off no matter how much you or anyone whines about this topic it will never help. We are all entitled to our own opinions, I play PC the most, I prefer Console, but I play pc. I prefer a controller over mouse and keyboard, but tend to use mouse and keyboard. Now anyway, PC can NOT in any way shape or form be compared to consoles. Im sorry but you can't. Next you CAN NOT, I REPEAT CAN NOT beat the consoles price point. Yes I understand you can build a PC for the same price as a current console (Excluding the OS) but the simple fact is that PC isn't going to last you 8 years with the original parts and as time goes on games will decrease graphically and performance wise on PC, so it you will need to continue updating. But never once have I seen a pc Hardware or Software wise outlast a console. I mean hell look at the 360 and PS3, They came out in 2006 and will continue to play games at playable settings until 2018. My PC I built in 2006 and never upgraded lasted until 2010 before It stopped playing games at a playable setting. (BTW Ive still yet to see a pc with 256MB of Ram run BF4) But anyway games you see now on next gen won't get worse performance wise as time goes on as it will for a pc. Because the Devs Optimize for those platforms and as time goes on the Devs learn how to use the hardware and software and learn new tricks and are able to make games look even better as time goes for the same hardware as for pc that is a different story. This is what I say all the time to PC Elitist. Compare release games for the 7TH generation to the games they have now, Their is no comparison, the difference is amazing. Now compare games from 2006 on a 2006 PC that has the same hardware as it originally did and then try playing a game released this year. IT just wont work. The fact is consoles will always have that over PCs. Now personally I already know the down votes I will get and the counter arguments people will try to do, but the simple fact is A $400 PC can not beat a $400 console in the long run. Trust me it just wont work. BTW to all you PC elitist out their who use AMD (I myself is one of them) The only reason the $150 AMD Processors can compete with $300 Intels (Im referring to FX-8350) is because of consoles. Due to console (mostly the new ones) using 8 core APUs and CPUs the developers learn how to utilize those extra cores to improve performance. Before then in gaming there was no need for 8 cores so the AMD processors lacked behind. The simple fact is though is PC and Consoles both have pros and cons, but a PC will never be able to give you the same experience as a console (maybe in the future) its the simple truth and I understand current pc players will not agree with that but im sorry you can't change the fact no matter how much you argue. PC and Console gaming in terms are 2 different concepts and shouldn't be compared because of how one sided it is. Consoles where never meant to beat PCs they where developed to enhance your entertainment experience and make it more user friendly.

I can also tell you one thing, Ive never had as many resolution errors playing my xbox games as I do my pc.

I agree.

A pc is much more than a gaming machine. For that reason, you pay more for it.

A console is a gaming machine and thats it. Therefore, it costs less.

And like you say, the devs can make the games better for the consoles due to the same specs which is sort of good and bad.

Your not going to get a pc experience on console.

Once you crank them settings up, you'll never go back. [True story]

You cannot compare a PC against a console because the differences are many and either platform attracts a different type of gamer altogether.

We are all acutely aware that if you spend money wisely and possess the know how and confidence to build a PC you can enjoy fantastic graphics/speeds whilst gaming. Even the games are more complex and time consuming than console games but again that is the preference of a PC gamer, I mean who can't get enough of "Grass Simulator" (lol) . But yeah there are a lot of amazing games for the PC that I am gutted I cannot get to play them on a console.

Saying next gen consoles are "obsolete" is to me very ignorant and bias because console gamers actually do make the conscience choice to buy a console and not a PC and this does not in anyway mean we cannot afford a PC because the fact is we can we just simply choose not to purchase one. Console gamers enjoy the experience of playing on consoles and even though next gen consoles will only ever achieve "High" setting on a PC the fun to be had with your friends and the interaction and making new friends is second to none.

I would love a PC but I have chosen not to get one because I have noticed changes in people who have now got a PC. The "Console Peasant" and "PC Master Race" labels that now people are described as are pathetic and if anything off putting and not helping and stigma attached to buying a PC. We are all gamers at the end of the day whether it be Console or PC gaming and nobody is above or below anyone else. So stick with what you want and go with it .

Personally I use my Xbox one and PC at the same time, I tend to play pc games more because of my Profession, and also all my friend jumped shipped to ps4 and a few of my really really really close friends are on PC. But I may play more on pc but I will still forever hold Consoles in a special little place in my heart reserved especially for it. But yea why did you switch, I mean I love console but man I cant go more than 3 hours without my Modded fallout or CIV 5

The difference in terms of consoles are probably exclusive games that are only available on those certain platforms (halo and killzone). Also, consoles are set to be more of a social way of playing. With next gen you can now record gameplay and share with friends. Although next-gen has already launched, I don't think the graphics are bad and to say you're paying an extra $400 for 20 more frames is a little pointless.

For the people who say consoles are better, they obviously haven't got a good PC and/or have never had the full experience of a true gamming PC.
