I brought a ps3 not knowing that it was an asian version console and therefore i cannot sign into my UK/Europe PSN profile, also the O Circle Button is swapped with the X Button. Is there anyway at all to make this a European version ps3?

Try restoring to default settings and set to native country.
It may work.
