I Reinstalled MW2.. Fresh and i added all the title update 8 to the chache folder and without adding any mods or anything i tried going online and i signed on but it asks me to download the update.. even when i add all the files from tu8 can someone help please

Downloading a TU from XBL is okay, the only thing you don't want to download from XBL is a dash update because it'll blow your efuses. It's okay to download that update.

Hmmm... Then download it off [url]xboxunity.net[/url].
After that, get out a USB formatted to the xbox, then open up horizon, and just put it in there using horizon. Then transfer it to your HDD and reboot your JTAG.

you need to go to freestyle dash and go to mw2 (if youve created the gamepath) press y on mw2 and click manage title updates, then press 'a' on tu8 to activate it

when you downloaded the title update did you save it into the mw2 folder??

im not sure then mate, never heard of this before, the only way i can think of is you havent activated the tu on the title updates manager
