The only site which has all the parts I need and very cheap postage to Ireland is scan.co.uk I can't help but feel wary that it's too good to be true and have read reviews saying that they lie about having products in stock and goods classified as 'new' are actually refurbished products. This leading to items breaking quickly.

I thought a good place to ask would be here as I presume a lot of users have dealt with them. Any experiences, whether good or bad, would be appreciated Should I buy from them?

It's the company I go to the most, followed by Overclockers UK. Current parts I use from Scan include my case, power supply and graphics card.

They are a nice bunch of lads who actually respond to feedback if you leave it for them through the link they'll email after the order has shipped. Also their live chat and tracking facilities are excellent.

I find scan to have the best delivery services out of all of them I bought most of my parts from amazon which took considerably longer to arrive. (only used as i had prime) But I bought my GPU,cpu cooler from them and I don't regret buying from them.

Most of the of the parts I used to build my friends computer came from Scan, I had no problems with delivery or the final product.

Only problem I had was I ordered stuff that was in stock and then they magically went out of stock, but they gave me better stuff for the same price so it turned out to be a good experience.

Don't believe all the BS people say, Scan is the best website to get parts from and the most common. I ordered my whole PC components from there (except case) and I was expecting a medium sized box but it was huge, the reason why it was so big was because it had so much protection to it! (That's what she said... ye ye)

Sadly, despite the good reviews, I got the 'stock magically disappearing' e-mail. This only happened with 1 of 7 items I purchased from them. Anyways, thanks for all the help, I'm not too disappointed as I'm in no rush to receive the parts. The memory I purchased from Amazon may take 3 weeks to arrive. So long as the parts are good quality I'll be happy
