My mom wants a new pc, and she wants it for pictures, facebook and such.
She wants to know which is better a mac tower or a asus tower for what she wants. Could you leave some comments for her to read, i wont read them she will.

If its just to store picture and browse the net etc just get a laptop, or even an all in one.

Mac would be overkill

If all she wants it for is photos and facebook then it just comes down to which one she wants to pay for ... the mac whilst expensive is a good leisure machine .. the asus has futher applications when she wants to pass it on.

Chromebook. Locked down enough so that the user can't screw up the software, extremely cheap, and easy to use.

I second this.

I love my Chromebook the ease of use is mental and they are VERY cheap.

Chromebooks are laptops, not All-in-Ones.

But a simple cheap business class PC will do her just fine.

Honestly she can get any computer with a decent amount of space on the HDD.
