4170 - AM3
7850k - FM2+

Just no - im not even going to explain that one

Don't get me wrong, the 7850k is really good, but it does not use the same architecture from the 4170. Its not even the same socket!

I'm not going to lie here. But after doing some more research on the integrated GPU this APU has, its got only 500 shading cores and is clocked at 720 mhz. This GPU is nothing special they threw in here. Amazon possibly lied about the CPU included with the image and link I provided aswell. Its still an ok APU, but the Graphics side still isnt that strong.

At the moment, its the best APU that you can buy.

BF4 low settings, it will play @ 30fps

The two games that the OP mentioned will run fine

For the two games you wish to run (MC & LoL) you will still be fine. Just don't expect to be playing AAA games at optimal settings. Upgrade in the future if you want to.

"using R7 graphics and I can expect it to be a 270 or 280 so you should run most games at Ultra or High with 60+ Fps 1080p"
AMD's R7 ends at 265, so it can't possibly be a 270/280, Also, it won't run on high or ultra at 60+fps at 1080P because APU's aren't that good.
I think you should go do a bit more research...

We already settled this.... Did you read the posts on the second page.

I'll just state what I said in a PM. I honestly hate APU's and AMD GPU's. In my career of building I have not implemented one APU or AMD Graphics card into a clients build. Maybe I have been lucky but I usually obtain requests for GTX 780's or 770's. I'm going to look into APU's and the new AMD GPU's, but since I have not had to implement one, I haven't bothered to research them.

I'll start "Educating" myself today, because a client will ask for one of those eventually.
