Ok everyone first Im going to start out by saying, no, I don't have any "proof" of this method although I don't see why I would require any. I have learned all of this from past experience the past 2 days of trying to figure out these "Modded" crew colors by changing HEX values. Im simply posting this to try and save you people some time or help anyone who has had the same problems I faced the past 2 days...

Ok so to begin I wanted to make my own crew so I could change the colors as I please and not have to rely on someone else to do it for me. Id rather do it myself and have the colors I want, and Im sure most people feel that way. I cant stress this enough if you want to do this. DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN CREW UNDER YOUR GAMERTAG!!!

There is a glitch where if you leave your crew and make a new one, you will not level up in it. On the website it says you are ranking up but in-game you aren't. There is no definite known fix for this. Some reported unlinking your account and relinking them to your rockstar social club account fixed the problem but it didn't work for me of most people. IF you want to have your own crew where you can change the colors as you please, do it this way.

If you have a friend who doesn't care, have him make a crew and make you a Commissioner. Then you have access to change the crew color you wont need him anymore.

If you don't have a friend willing to do so, do what I did: Make a new Xbox/PSN account (no live required)and register that account on a NEW rockstar social club account

In other words make 2 new accounts: 1 on your Xbox or PlayStation and a new Rockstar social club account, and link the 2 together.

Then make the new crew however you want on that new account and invite yourself (the account you want to use to get colors on) to the crew. Go back to the bot account and promote yourself to commissioner. If you were in a crew before your rank will carry over. For example, I was rank 117 in the crew SRMC and now in this brand new crew Im still 117. Meaning I have all crew unlocks without having to play/level up in that crew at all. As commissioner you can then log on anytime and change your crew color and apply them to your vehicles.

Again DO NOT make a whole new crew on the account you want the colors on it will most likely not work if you have been in a crew before and you will be stuck at rank 1 with no unlocks.

Also as a note none of you have to believe me im just trying to save you all time who are interested in doing this for yourself. don't make the same mistake I did wasting 2 days trying to figure out why I wasn't leveling up.

I came up with this method myself (as far as I know of) and its working like a charm for me. Im in a new crew rank 117 with all unlocks and the ability to change my crew color as I please.

*Anyone interested in joining my crew who wants colors but doesn't feel like going through this here is the link
