Written side:

If the player decodes the NATO codenames (X-ray, Sierra etc.) into their first letters, and changing the serial numbers into letters (A-1, B-2) in the beginning of each level, and removing all the Xs, the player will get this message, "Reznov is dead, or is he dead, there was no body, not what he says he is". This has been nicknamed 'The Maverick Code' due to the Youtube user 01MaverickTen10 being the first noted player to bring it to the wider audience.

guys this is flight aviation code(phonetic alphabet)... i can give u the whole alphabet

Correct! Except for that it's just "Foxtrot." I've never heard anyone use "Fox" and my former SMI would probably make you push for trying to.
