I currently have a Alienware x51 deskstop with teh graphics card GTX 645, What would bea good one to upgrade to? I found some GTX 750 from nvidia.com that range from 120-150, would those be good to use? im not sure especially since the x51 is a smaller case.

Why did you buy an X51?
The thing that I have found the most abut them is that they have a 330W PSU, which is a no no for most GPU's
However, a 750 Ti should fit and work in it.

I really doubt that you could fit an ATX sized power supply in there. If you want a better GPU like a R9 270X, your best bet would be getting a new case and power supply.
What are the rest of the components?

CPU?

It may be worth getting a new case and transferring it all over tbh.

Alienwares are fairly upgradeable (They're designed to be upgraded) but the PSU sounds very weak for even a 750Ti. The processor will easily be able to handle it. I'd recommend a Corsair CX750. They give good power and are reliable. If you plan on going to a store (Not online) to purchase your parts, then compare two 750w PSUs, the heavier one is better.

Along with what Terrabytez said, I'm not sure you can fit a 750 watt PSU in an X51, so you may just want to buy a Mid-Tower of some sort (There are plenty of brands to choose from) and throw your components in there along with your new PSU and GPU. While we're learning specs, what's your Motheboard?

There is no need for a 750W PSU, a 450W PSU will power most systems today.

After looking at a video about the X51, the way it is built within the chassis may make it so that it can't be easily moved. With things like the GPU separate from the motherboard and the HDD covering the PCIE slots it could be tricky.
