Will some please explain to me how the Reputation works on here. It says you need 100 Reputation Power for 1 Reputation Point, is a Reputation Point on of those little Golden Stars? I see people with like 27 Reputation Power and 4 Golden Star.

Reputation can be given through a member or I believe by posts. Example as 25 posts for 1 reputation. Most reputation is given by members. People give reputation because you did something for them or they're being nice. The gold stars are from your posts, so the further up you go in posts, the more stars.

Every 25 posts you post, you get 1 rep power.

There is 100 reputation points in 1 reputation power

You get 1 reputation power per 25 Posts
and members can give up to 50 (if gold) reputation POINTS (half a power)
Normal members can only give 25.

To get reputation power you need either 100 rep from people giving you rep for being helpful or something and then every time you get 25 post you get 1 rep power.

Rep power is the number 3 with the green square beside it.

I think there is a sticky about everything on the site in the introduction section.

Rep is earned by posting or by other users giving you reputation.

25 posts = +1 rep earned
100 rep given to you from other users = +1 rep earned

Hope this explained the rep system somewhat better.

A reputition point is reputition power if someone gives you 100 rep u get 1 point hope i helped
