2 of my friends who dont like each other both built me a PC. They both disagree with each others PC so im stuck between the 2. They are practically identical apart from 1 has a 760 and the other one has a 770 and I dont know if the 760 is much different than the 770 for gaming. The PC with the 760 is like $40 cheaper so should I buy that one or save up for the one with the 770?

The 770 is a great card that will handle almost anything you throw at it. It usually can be bought at around $330, which is around $90 more than the 760, which is retailing around $240. If the specs are, as you say, almost identical, you should save up the extra $40 for the build with the 770.

Post the specs of both (if you can). It seems unlikely that the build with the 770 is only $40 more unless this build cut some corners elsewhere.

Both the 770 and 760 are hard to suggest now that the 280X's price has dropped to $260 new. Can you post what they suggested?
