This issue is happening to a lot of people. Try and play GTA online and it will give you an error message stating "Files required to play GTA Online could not be downloaded from the Rockstar Games Service. Please return to Grand Theft Auto V and try again later." I'm guessing they are working on releasing the update, hence the "files". It is said that there is an "Independence Day" update coming out on the first of July. Maybe an early update? Post a reply if you are experiencing these same problems and your thoughts as to what it could be!

I was getting that the day "I'm Not A Hipster" came out. Just get off GTA for abit. It'll let you on later.

i dont think its a early update, most likely just having servers problems

New social club content was added. People can now play GTA online.
