Why are giveaways no longer allowed here? (apart from the gold giveaways)

I used to do a lot of giveaways in the PC Gaming section and nobody ever had a problem with it. Now every time I make a post about a giveaway, it gets deleted. I was then warned after 2 or 3 posts for doing giveaways and linked to the rules. I'd already read the rules but it was a long time ago because I haven't been here in a while.

TL;DR: Why are giveaways (other than the gold giveaways) no longer allowed on TTG?

I think because too many people were getting scammed and complaining to the staff of the website. So they might'v just banned them overall to make their jobs easier

Giveaways have been not allowed since you have joined the site. It's been like this for a few years now.
