First things first: Know your types of sales

- Broad/Store-Wide Sales: The typical blah blah whatever 25-75% off sales, usually for games older than 6 months old

- Daily Deals: Selected games are on sale at 50-70% off for 24-48 hours. Remember these last for a day rather than a few hours

- Flash Deals: These are what you want to pay attention to, usually 75%-90% off, but these deals only last for 8 hours

- Community Vote Sale: 2 packs containing 4 games are voted on, the pack with most votes wins.

When To Buy: See a game you want? Buy it at the best time.

- Flash and Daily sales: Flash and Daily sales will have the highest discounts, pay close attention to these, this is how you will save money. Check out flash sales first, you only get 8 hours to buy flash sales rather than a daily, where you get an entire day. If you go through multiple flash sales, and the game you want for the daily sale STILL hasn't gone through, buy it on a daily sale unless you think that your game will be on sale for a higher discount later on in the Summer Sale.

- Encore Sales: Did you miss a flash sale, or daily sale early on in the Summer Sale? Don't worry about it. Usually on the last day of the Summer Sale, the most popular flash/daily/community sales will be back and you can pick up your game there. However, don't heavily rely on the Encore sale to buy a game. If you can get the game the first time, get it, the encore sale will only bring back popular choices.

- Bundles: If you see a bundle of a bunch of games you want, GET IT, bundles will often contain a games series, or a bunch of similar games at a HUGE discount, you can save a ton of money with buying bundles.
