You can go there and buy things which you may not necessarily get here in the UK, as well as buying a little something for the girl which you are meeting.

i would take all the money you can, the food in the shops over there is way more expensive than the UK but if you have some were to stay then i would worry about taking loads

when i went to the us i spent 300 GBP In the 1st day so if i was you take like 2000 you went need any more money than that unles you was in las vegas like me the good times

It's her parents place, but they have a guest room. I've met her step-dad, just got to meet her mum. Hopefully they'll let me stay because the hotel would be very expensive.
