I put this together myself on PcPartPicker and wanted to know if this build would be able to run DayZ and other hard to run games... Thanks!

looks pretty good. Good part choice. If you live by a Microcenter then you should go pickup an FX-8320 there. They are like $129 in store at Microcenter.

Looks pretty good. You could drop the aftermarket CPU fan and upgrade your GPU a small bit.

What would you recommend upgrading it to but still keeping it under 700

This goes a bit over but the card would last longer.

well dayz (arma) is very hard on your cpu, more so then your GFX card, so i would suggest at the least getting the 8350...if you have more money i would go for the intel i7 4770k. i have one and it handles anything i throw at it!

This is a very solid build for gaming. on my budget gaming computer with a AMD quad core 3.5gh processor I can run Dayz on high graphics quite smoothly and even games like guild wars on high, so I imagine that with this build you will get quite the gaming experience out of it. and when it comes time that you just have too many games for your hardrive to handle you can upgrade your memory and hardrive up a few TB's lol. but in all yes this is a very effective gaming build. congrats on the upgrades!
