When I am on xbox I'll plug out my mic it'll say its out for a second or two amd then it'll say a mic is plugged in still ot really bothers me and suggestions on how to get rid off it?? I use Turtle Beach X12.

( btw im on about in a party it wil say I have a mic plugged in when I havent got 1 in )

try this
1. re-sync the controller
2. get a bottle of canned air or just blow into the mic slot

Just restart your xbox..Then turn the mic on and off.
If that fails your mic or paddle is faulty.
