I Got Reset On Nether

Does anyone know why I got reset on nether, I went on it a few months ago then went to play another game for a bit and now I came back to play it, went into the global inventory and every thing has gone but 5 keys a some blue tube. If you know why this happened I would be interested to see why this has happened.
