Well I have had a problem with downloading Microsoft Office, so, I get online to the Microsoft Online Chat service.
I join the chat at 21:09, and I get straight in, great right? Well, then I get told every two minutes to wait:

Eventually, after about half an hour waiting! I get through...
Turns out, my problem can't even be fixed by her! She gives me zero time to answer back, and then tells me that I have to contact them through the phone, which is closed now, and on Sundays! So I have to wait till Monday! I need office now to right my CV asap!
She then asks if I have any other problems, then as I was just about to right out my disgust to her, she ends the chat without even leaving me a chance if I had another problem!

I just hate all customer service, whether it is Apple, Dell, Sky or Microsoft (Being extremely worse than others tbh)

Calling them is even worse! 15p a minute and that includes the 17 mins on hold! Pathetic...

I don't even fool with customer service anymore because of this kind of thing. I just either go on forums like this searching for the answer, or try and figure it out myself. They are so useless and know less than most common users.

I have never had this bad of an experience with customer service, from my experience, they don't seem to have a lot of power to help you with recover information or anything like that. It doesn't make sense to have a customer service team if you are not going to help in the first place.

Exactly, especially when we pay for their products...

I would just pirate it for now. Thats complete BS that you had to constantly wait. Xbox live does this to, I bought a MSP code from shopko, but it wasnt clearing. The person at the registed scanned it again, yet still didnt work. Msp wouldnt refund me because they said it could be fake or already used. Shopko did refund me though, but MS just acted like I was lieing.

If you need something today download Microsoft office works, I believe it's free, and it's very similar to word but with fewer functions(hence it being free) but it's something you could make a start on your CV at least with so Monday you when you can get it sorted you can just copy it across and format it as you wish
