I'm 18, 19 on the 20th, so I'd class myself as part of this generation and yeah, it's ****. All kids wanna do now is go out, drink, smoke weed, have sex and commit crimes. I live in a fairly nice area with a lot of nice people about, I myself am 1 of these people who have never drank, smoked/weed, gone to a house party etc ( boring life ) but everyone I know does these things.

I know multiple girls/boys that were 14 - 17 and were having kids. This generation is ****. There's no denying it.

I'm almost certain people have done all them things in past generations.

Every Generation has said this about each other generation. We just weren't alive.

Jagex wrote Ill disagree and say this generation does suck. I feel sorry for those that don't realise it yet. I really do.

Everyone seems to be so stereotypical about our generation. I think people like you, who have already given up on the generation when it is still in its youth, are the ones who suck. Period. I feel sorry for you and everyone like you for being so hopeless.

You're so incredibly wrong, apart from death. Unless you consider immortality to be created.

Healthcare? Yeah, nah. It doesn't suck, if you need a vaccination or a cast around your leg you can get that.
The poorer countries can't.
Education, not a joke. Maybe you just don't try hard enough at school. Your grammar is off, that gave me an idea you just don't want to learn.
A billion dollars for college? no. I'm not quite sure, but it's around 20k. The debt afterwards can be paid off, with your high paying job that you worked hard for, no you're not guaranteed a good job, though you can get one if you work hard, and you would want to work hard because you're paying a decent amount of money for college.

We are the only ones that have to PAY for it though. ( Health Care ) - America - He is completely right. people spend loads of money for education only to end up in dept for a long time. I don`t give a flying **** what people tell you, but companies are not looking for a piece of paper saying you can do the job. They are going to hire the guy who does it right, faster, and cheaper.

I sort of agree with you. I mean I know it's stupid that people complain about this generation when it's technically their fault for it being so retarded but at the same time, the technology is getting really extraordinary...

Read this quote by Thomas Edison:
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like hard work.

Okay now rethink your education statement and how invalid your first one was. You have to WORK for things you want okay, you cant just sit on your **** through school and expect someone to give you a good paying job. You got to WORK for that job.

It's funny how people say this, because in actuality, we're the first generation that has to deal with the sudden fact that college isn't this job-granting entity. Back in the previous generations, a person could get any degree and still end up with a high-paying job, but now, you can barely get a job with an engineering degree (one of the "most promising" degrees out right now).

You're contradicting yourself, sort of.
You say 'Companies are not looking for a piece of paper saying you can do the job. They are going to hire the guy who does it right, faster and cheaper.
Well, you're wrong. They don't know if you're going to do it right, do it faster and why would anyone do it cheaper?
They have to hire you to find these attributes out, now don't they?
Also, when you leave school (because you are clearly still in school) you will find it very hard to find a decent job with a decent pay, or a job at all.
They ARE looking for the paper that says you can do it.
