Ahh yes, but your really only wanting to pay for the socket on that motherboard. If you would like, I can find you a cheaper but just as effective and future proof as this one.

BEAST of a motherboard, supports your cpu, AND has 4 PCI E x16 slots. That means if you want 4 GPUS, this makes it possible!

If he's looking for futureproofness, this is a terrible motherboard because it's the z87 chipset, not the z97. z87 will not support anything newer than the current 4th gen core processors, the z97 will support the not yet released 5th generation.
