Ok i know people have been ranting about this, so flame me if you must but anyway
i've just seen this post which is just rediculice
Dear Treyarch,
I dislike how you give PC owners mods on their Black Ops copy and give other users ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We Modders/Hackers/Glitchers feed off of what you give the PC guys, MODIFYING CONTENT. If you would just give us the tools on the game then you wouldn't have to patch what we do. Do you patch what players do on the PC? No, Because they have a modding tool in their game.
The first line, modding that is aloud on pc is not public servers, it is private servers which someone is paying for if they want mods on they can they are paying for a private modded server, if consoles had these capabilities and it wasn't against microsofts Tos then yes mmaybeit would happen.
2nd line We modders/glitchers/hackers, hmm where to start with this, what the few people that figure it out and you the leech, yes you are the modder/glitcher/hacker aaren'tyou?
line 3 is pretty much the same as line one, the fact that dedicated just wwouldn'twork on pc, with or without modded servers
and line 4/5 is eeffectivelythe same as point 1, no there not going to patch it as its aloud on modded servers
On the console the game is completely different to the pc version, they way the console is modded is so different to the pc mods, people on console that hhaven'treally played pc dont understand that the mods and hacks aren't 10/15th prestige lobbys yeah i've seen these things on the pc but not like it is on console, on the pc modders respect the game and the fact that they are aloud to mod on it they are more respectful, but on the xbox the leechers dont care and they dont respect the rules, treyarch arent doing this to annoy you there doing it because its the rules, if you want to play with mods on, please be my guest play the pc you will see its a completely different scene and you may learn a little more respect for the developers.
